County Court Fees

From 1 October 2007

There is an amendment to fees payable in the Court effective from 1 Oct 2007.

Please note the fees which are most frequently used at any County Court – further details are available from the Court website www.courtservice.gov.uk – and fee leaflets will be available.

1. Commencement of proceedings

(a)does not exceed £300 = £30
(b)exceeds £300 but not £500 = £45
(c)exceeds £500 but not £1,000 = £65
(d)exceeds £1,000 but not £1,500 = £75
(e)exceeds £1,500 but not £3,000 = £85
(f)exceeds £3,000 but not £5,000 = £108
(g)exceeds £5,000 but not £15,000 = £225
(h)exceeds £15,000 but not £50,000 = £360
(i)exceeds £50,000 but not £100,000 = £630
(j)exceeds £100,000 but not £150,000 = £810
(k)exceeds £150,000 but not £200,000 = £990
(l)exceeds £200,000 but not £250,000 = £1,170
(m)exceeds £250,000 but not £300,000 = £1,350
(n)exceeds £300,000 or not limited = £1,530

2. Recovery of Land or goods = £100

3. Enforcement

Warrant of execution amount not exceeding £125 = £30

Warrant of execution amount exceeding £125 = £60
Application judgment summons = £90
